The Contemporary Conflict Environment – Implications for Space.
From Desert Storm to Ukraine and conflicts yet to come, Space has taken on an increasingly prominent role in warning decision makers, linking and integrating forces and capabilities, anticipating and deterring threats, and increasing the efficiency and, importantly, effectiveness of our forces. With that prominence has come challenges of dependence as our adversaries exploit space and challenge our own exploitation. What are the implications of these trends with combat raging in Ukraine and actors challenging the US and its allies around the globe?
